Congratulations to Josh, our Apprentice of the Month for June!
Josh, who’s studying for his Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship whilst working at Frome Medical Centre, is an exceptional apprentice. Throughout his journey Josh has adapted quickly to take on the required tasks and responsibilities. He’s a natural leader during his class sessions and supports others to learn and develop. Josh has been promoted within his team from an apprentice to a full time employee and will continue his career with Frome Medical Centre.
Josh’s manager at Frome Medical Centre says, “We’re extremely pleased with Josh’s development within his current role. He’s a key member of the team and his customer service skills continue to be of high quality. He’s recently been successful in obtaining a full time position in the team and we’re delighted to support him further with his apprenticeship whilst doing this role. We plan to build on his existing knowledge and skills by allowing him to shadow other members of the wider team. Josh also wants to extend his knowledge of services within the GP practice and medications, to help provide a more comprehensive service to our patients.“
Josh comments, “Over the past seven months I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time as an apprentice, both working with SS&L and the medical practice. I’ve found the learning enjoyable and refreshing. In addition to this, I’ve got an amazing tutor who has guided me through the process of the apprenticeship so far. The highlight is being offered a full time job at Frome Medical Practice, which has provided me a platform to kickstart my career.“
