What does an Apprenticeship Coach do?
The Coach will become your trusted partner and guide your apprentice through the apprenticeship training and assessment process, adding a little extra help to ensure they have everything in place to succeed on the apprenticeship.
Support will be provided through personalised 1:1 sessions at a time agreed between by all parties. The support may only be required for a short time or through many bespoke and tailored sessions to ensure successful outcomes are achieved for all.
How often will they meet the Apprenticeship Coach?
They will meet their Apprentice Coach once a month as a minimum but more frequent sessions can be held if required to work on any areas they, their employer or you have concerns on during their apprenticeship journey.
Wellbeing & Emotional Support
Our Apprenticeship Coach can guide your apprentice through any challenges they may encounter and help them develop strategies for success. Including signposting to Specialist Organisations/Provisions.
Supporting & Improving Study Skills
An Apprenticeship Coach can provide tailored support to help your apprentice manage their workload effectively, help them juggle work responsibilities & support them if they feel overwhelmed.
Accountability & Improving Attendance
Sustaining motivation is crucial for apprentice success. An Apprenticeship Coach acts as a motivator, offering encouragement during challenging periods and holding your apprentice accountable for their progress, ensuring that they maintain a high level of attendance.
Clarifying Career Goals & Work Readiness Training
If your apprentice is uncertain about their career goals, a coach can help them clarify their aspirations. By working together, the coach and apprentice can create a plan that ensures alignment between the apprenticeship and the apprentice’s long-term vision.
Supporting Return After a Break
