WECA Funded Community Workshops & Courses
SS&L is thrilled to receive significant investment from the West of England Combined Authority in order to provide free, family focused community learning. Our main aim is to bridge the home-school gap, equipping families with the skills and knowledge to better support their children with school work, while getting the opportunity to assess their own skills and learning needs.
From digital skills and languages to mental health and wellbeing courses, this funding means we can offer learning within the Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES) community, which is completely free and tailored towards real and tangible need.
We’re keen to work alongside schools and community based organisations to provide additional services, which encompass the whole family and provide much needed opportunities to develop personal confidence and improve wellbeing within the home.
In ‘normal’ times, we’d be out and about delivering workshops and short courses within your communities, but due to the COVID-19 crisis our courses are currently all happening online. We hope to be back out in the real world very soon.
Take a look at what’s on offer, and learn something new from the comfort of your own home.
