Course overview

Art in the Park is a FREE Family Fun Day, with workshops suitable for children aged 3-8 years.

Come and find us by the bandstand in Victoria Park (booking is essential).

Workshops will be drop-in, so arrive when you like and stay for as long as you want to.

10.30am - 1pm - Art, Craft and Music workshops will run simultaneously.

1:30pm - Picnic Lunch: bring your own picnic to enjoy together with other families.

Spring into the Easter holidays with our art and craft workshops: On the theme of spring animals, we’ll have several workshops, exploring many different ways of creating and making bunnies, chicks, lambs, ladybirds and more. Workshops will include wet felting, rock painting and lots more. Enjoy spending time together with your kids as you learn and create together.

Hop and roll: Make music together at our music making workshop – this will include song-writing, drumming and the chance to try out a wide range of different percussion instruments. No musical knowledge or experience necessary, just a willingness to explore and make a noise.

Spending time together, learning something new and enjoying fun activities with your children, can encourage connection, bonding, independence, confidence and curiosity. At Art in the Park, you’ll have an amazing time learning, connecting and picnicking with others. We know you’ll have an eggstremely fun time!
