The finances of a modern household can be a complicated and stressful equation to work out: a budget is a straightforward way to keep track of your money.
Through this online workshop you will learn how to create a budget for your household and ensure your financial health into the future. You will build confidence in planning your spending and, with it, the peace of mind of being ready for whatever the future has in store for you and your family.
The first session will cover how to use a budget and the basics of gathering your data, your money coming in and going out of the household and putting it into a budget. Using an online platform, we will work on case studies and look at different examples of budgets so we can find the style that suits your individual needs. By the end of the session you will have the skeleton of your budget ready to fill out with your data.
The second session will cover personalising your budget and using it to plan for your financial future, including building in flexibility for savings and emergencies.
Our supportive tutors will be able to answer questions about your budget and ensure you are confident using it in your day-to-day life.
