Are you fascinated by how children learn, grown and develop? This 1½ hour taster session will give you a basic introduction to child development, and suggest several activities to help children blossom.
You will learn how practical, fun activities can be used to support the learning and development of the whole child. You will be watching some video clips and taking part in discussion and activities which will further your understanding of how children learn and develop.
This workshop will run online via Zoom on the morning of the 17th November, 9.30am – 11.00am
There are no assessments or exams for this workshop.
Our Community Learning workshops and courses are designed to improve confidence, self-esteem, resilience and motivation. At the end of the workshop you will discuss with our experienced tutor, how you can continue to expand on your learning. This may be activities to continue with what you have learnt, and/or signposting to other courses and workshops available within SS&L or external organisations.

This workshop will be delivered via Zoom so you will need to ensure you have access to IT on the day and are competent with using Zoom.
This course is free if you are aged over 19, live in Somerset and have lived in the UK/EU for the last three years
