Course overview

Many of us don’t get the required amount of sleep each night, and often wake feeling tired and lethargic for the day ahead.

In this 2 hour online workshop you will understand the different stages of sleep, and explore what can have an impact on your sleep pattern.

You will gain knowledge and confidence in practicing relaxation techniques which will support you in improving your health and wellbeing.

Course assessment

Learning outcomes will be discussed with learners throughout the workshop and following completion if required.

Course progression

Upon completion of this workshop, learners will have increased knowledge and confidence to continue their learning journey.

Progression opportunities will include attendance to other SS&L Health and Wellbeing courses and workshops, Community Learning Workshops being offered by MIND, Level 2 Certificate in awareness of Mental Health Problems – Distance Learning with SS&L.

Entry Requirements:

There are no entry requirements for this course. Just a willingness to learn, to improve health and wellbeing.

This course will be free to learners who are aged 19 and above, who live in Somerset or BANES, and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years.

This workshop will be delivered via Zoom. You will therefore require access to a smart phone, tablet or PC and the Zoom application.
