What does it take to return to studying? Could you cope? Do you have the skills?
This workshop will help you to realise what is involved in studying, show you that you already have relevant skills and will help you to develop your skills, no matter how long it is since you last studied.
This short workshop is open to anyone who is thinking that they may want or need to return to education.
There is no formal assessment for this workshop.
On completion of this workshop, learners may wish to join the full 4-week ‘Developing Your Study Skills’ course which aims to support those returning to studying after a break.
Learners may also be interested in exploring the variety of free community learning opportunities available at SS&L.
This course is FREE for all B&NES and Somerset residents aged 19+, who have been living in the UK for over 3 years.
Learners will need a strong and secure internet connection in order to join this online class.

Our trainees are aged 16-24 and want to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to secure an apprenticeship, get into work, or prepare for further education and a traineeship can help them get there.
