Course overview

This Level 2 course will suit you if you’re new to Beauty Therapy or have some knowledge and basic skills in the industry, (probably from a role where you work under supervision). Perhaps you want to increase your skills, start your first job in the area or take on more responsibility.

You will study core units which cover all the basics from client care, salon duties and health and safety to skin care, waxing, manicure and pedicure. In addition you will study a minimum of two optional units which will enable you to focus on a skill in more depth; for instance, make up, nail art or threading.

You will study a mixture of theory and practical skills in our Frome Centre and our fantastic new beauty clinic Cloud 9. This will give you an unrivalled opportunity to learn in an authentic clinic and hone your skills alongside qualified, experienced beauticians. Some of the theory sessions may be delivered online.
