This short online workshop will be delivered by our childcare team and is for parents, carers and professionals wanting to gain knowledge of how tuff tray activities can support development.
You will learn about tuff tray activities, how to create different tray activities to stimulate learning, and the positive benefits from this play.
This workshop will run online via Zoom on the morning of the 23rd March 2021.
If you are looking to provide encouraging group play and helping to build social and communication skills, this workshop is for you.
There are no assessments or exams for this workshop.
Our Community Learning workshops and courses are designed to improve confidence, self-esteem, resilience and motivation. At the end of the workshop you will discuss with our experienced tutor, how you can continue to expand on your learning. This may be activities to continue with what you have learnt, and/or signposting to other courses and workshops available within SS&L or external organisations.
Following attendance to this workshop, you may be interested in our other free Community Learning workshops: fun phonic activities, outdoor play, child behaviour (Early Years) and literacy activities for the under 5’s.

Many of our learners choose to explore other SS&L community learning courses, workshops and qualifications following attendance to our tuff tray activities workshop.
There are no qualifications required for this workshop, just a willingness to learn.
This workshop will be delivered via Zoom so you will need to ensure you have access to IT on the day and are competent with using Zoom.
This course is free if you are aged over 19, live in Somerset or B&NES, and have lived in the UK/EU for the last three years

If you can offer a trainee work experience in your business as part of their traineeship, we would love to hear from you.
