This introduction to wellbeing is for anyone interested in supporting the wellbeing of the children that are close to them. We’re not born with a manual for how to manage emotions, but we can learn how to support our kids to be calmer and to know what to do when the big feelings come out.
You will learn how big feelings like anger, fear and distress can be triggered, even by small things, and what those feelings are there for. Find out how to create a safe, calm space for your kids and learn methods for managing big emotions, this workshop will provide a great starting point to learn ways to support your children’s wellbeing, as well as your own.
In a friendly, supportive space and with a hands-on and fun approach to learning, this workshop will set you up for a calmer time with your kids.
This course is suitable for any adult who cares for children, including parents, grandparents, and carers of children of any age, up to teens. Expectant parents are welcome to come and learn, ready to welcome their child into the world, and pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend with their adult.
