All the staff at SS&L are super supportive. I was really nervous starting last September but staff and other learners quickly made me feel at ease. I have passed maths level one and two first time! Something I never thought possible.
Dave is a fab tutor who will go over and over stuff until you get it. If you don’t understand it one way he will find another. So glad I made the call and got started just wish I had done it sooner. Big thank you to all involved.

Learning through Somerset Skills & Learning has personally been brilliant for me. In the last two years I have completed an English and Mathematics course, both at GCSE level. I have learnt a lot of new skills, improved my knowledge and gained plenty of new material, all of which I can use in my current job and future career.
Returning to education, after a long absence, was a little nerve racking. However, I felt at ease during the classes as the tutors were very professional. Along with my newly acquired skills, the course has given me far greater confidence in the two subjects I have studied.
As someone, working full-time, I would have struggled to attend an evening class at one of SS&L’s centres. With their online learning classes, run in the evenings, it has been made possible for me to complete the course.
I believe the courses run by SS&L are done very professionally and there is a lot to gain from what they have to offer.

There were many positive things about SS&L; there are too many to mention here.
My friend and myself studied together through out the 9 months of GCSE Maths; previous to that I did GCSE English Lang. Lit. I would fully recommend SS&L. The resources they offer like Moodle and Kerboodle, BKSB and zoom lesson videos give you plenty of chance to research and learn each subject. We have found it very worthwhile and I’ve started using the skills in ordinary life. Well now we’ve finished our final Maths exam, we can continue our very special learning journey. Thank you SS&L.
