Business and employment has gone through significant changes over the last few months and is likely to continue in a similar way for the foreseeable future.

At SS&L we have adapted in order to support Somerset employers and the apprentices we work with. New working practices have been put in place, which include contact free recruitment, virtual employer visits via Zoom, inductions via video and assessments carried out remotely. We have also invested in digital signing software to allow more paperwork to be completed remotely, so that we can continue to support all our current apprentices and employers, as well as onboard new starts.

We have supported over 200 organisations so far this year and are continuing to recruit and place apprentices in schools, childcare settings, local government and businesses across Somerset. However, we understand that employers need to move forward in new ways. We want you to join us on this journey and tell us how we can best support your business.
