Course Overview
The Level 3 Team Leader Supervisor Apprenticeship is for you if you’re already in a junior manager role providing directions, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals, with responsibility for operations, projects or teams.
With this Apprenticeship, you will develop your skills further to be the best manager you can, get the most out of the teams that you manage and to fast-track your career.
The training content will assess and develop knowledge, skills and behaviours in setting and achieving goals. Training covered may include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, managing finances, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships internally and externally.

It’s anticipated that it will take 15-18 months to complete this qualification but this will be discussed with you when you start. It’s a rolling programme so you can start at any time of the year.
Entry Requirements

Your training is fully funded by contributions from the government and your employer.

Assessment
As a competence qualification the apprenticeship will need the support of an employer. It is designed and tailored to support a portfolio of evidence built by you in a junior managerial role (Team Leader/Supervisor/Line Manager) with operational/project and financial responsibilities.
As part of the Apprenticeship you will also gain a Level 3 Management Diploma via the ILM’s Get to Gateway online portal, where you will receive resources and support to achieve the qualification.
An End Point Assessment will be carried out at the end of your apprenticeship and your tutor will help you to prepare for this.
Progression
There are specialist and generic management progression routes in standalone qualifications at levels 4 and 5.
The Level 3 apprenticeship progresses well to the L5 Operational Management Apprenticeship for those in the appropriate work roles.
Your progression options can be discussed with your tutor.
