Learning Support Coordinator
Location: Somerset - base to be agreed
Salary: Pro rata of £31,534
Hours: 30 hours per week

Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Learning Support Coordinator to lead the learning support process for SS&L learners. You will have experience of facilitating support for individuals with additional learning needs and disabilities, ensuring that the needs of learners are effectively identified and play a key role in ensuring effective support is implemented.
You will have a sound knowledge of the EHCP referral process and work closely with the local authority’s SEND team to ensure that effective support is implemented, resourced and regularly reviewed to enable learners to access provision. You will work closely with curriculum teams to identify learner support needs and coordinate the utilisation of Learning Support Workers. Playing a key role in the evaluation of the impact of learning support.
You will also act as one of SS&L’s Safeguarding Officers, offering support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure our learners’ wellbeing.
