Discover the Supported Internship at Bridgwater – Join Our Information and Experience Days!

We’re thrilled to invite young people with SEND and their families to explore the new Supported Internship programme in Bridgwater, starting January 2026. These internships give young people aged 16–24 the chance to gain real work experience, develop key skills, and build confidence—all in a supportive, practical environment.

To help learners and families find out more, SS&L and Young Somerset are hosting a series of Information and Experience Days at Bold & Brave, Angel Place, Bridgwater.

Information and Experience Days – Dates and Details

Join us to:

  • Meet the team and ask questions

  • Discover what the internship involves

  • Explore real work placements in retail, digital, and café roles

  • Experience a taste of the learning and support available

Dates:

  • Wednesday 19 November, 10.30am – 12.30pm

  • Wednesday 26 November, 10.30am – 12.30pm

  • Wednesday 3 December, 10.30am – 12.30pm

These sessions are open to learners and families and are a great opportunity to see first-hand how the programme can help young people grow in confidence and gain practical skills.

Why Attend?

Supported Internships are tailored for young people with SEND or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). They combine real work experience with classroom-based sessions to build employability and life skills.
