Course Overview
Aged 16 – 18* and wondering what’s next?
Future Ready is a supportive, practical course, designed to help you build confidence, gain useful qualifications, and get real experience to prepare for work, an apprenticeship or further study.
You’ll work towards Level 2 English and maths – important for most jobs or courses – and a nationally recognised Certificate in Employability Skills to help you feel ready for the world of work. You’ll also take part in a work placement, giving you hands-on experience in a real job setting.
As part of the course, you’ll explore different industries, helping you figure out what kind of work suits you. You’ll also get involved in a social action project, developing your teamwork, communication and leadership skills while making a difference in your community.
With small class sizes and friendly tutors who’ll support you every step of the way, this course gives you the space and encouragement to grow, succeed and take your next step with confidence.
