Introducing our Employer of the Month for December, Hambridge Primary School!

Based just outside of Langport, the school were a clear choice for our Business Development Manager Heidi Oliver, who chose them for this month’s award: “They have a real learner-focussed approach when it comes to training their apprentices. Their passion for creating an environment of support and encouragement means all the learners who walk through their doors have the best chance of success.”

So, who are Hambridge School?

We caught up with Headteacher Leanne to find out more about Hambridge and what makes them tick. She said “I’ve been headteacher at Hambridge for three years now; I absolutely love our school and the community we have. Our children are wonderful – they are eager to learn and love their school too! I like to think we are one big family. We are proudly part of the Preston Primary Academy Trust, where as a collective our ethos and belief is that each child can achieve, and this is at the heart of everything we do.

“I have always found SS&L great to deal with. I have previously had apprentices before through SS&L and they have always been so supportive with excellent communication.

“Our Apprentices help support our children enormously. They have a clear passion and drive for making a difference, and to achieve their own personal goals through a hands-on approach.”

And what does the future hold for Hambridge?

“Our apprentice will continue to get a variety of opportunities to learn the skills they need to achieve their qualification,” Leanne continues. “We will continue to give them the best possible support. Hambridge will continue the aim to provide the best possible primary education for its pupils so they can ‘be the best they can be!’”
