Apprentice of the month – April 2024
Well done to Julynn, our April Apprentice of the Month!
Let’s celebrate Julynn, who has been named our April Apprentice of the Month!
Julynn has worked tirelessly to a high quality in pursuing her own development. She strives to do everything to the highest standard. Julynn is keen to pursue her own ideas and research for development and is a highly valued member of the school team.
Sara, Julynn’s tutor, nominated her for the award due to her commitment to her own learning development and excellence! Sara says “Right from the start, I have known that Julynn’s work will be of the highest quality. She has a fantastic work ethic. If I was looking to put a team together in a school, she would be on it. Her school interviewed her towards the end of her apprenticeship and she will be working for them permanently once she has finished the course this summer.”
Juylnn says “I hope to continue my work at Willowdown; working on interventions to ensure the best outcomes for the children. I began my apprenticeship in January 2023 and have gained extensive knowledge since then. The hands-on experience has significantly enhanced my skills and understanding, which has deepened my dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.”
Chantelle, Assistant Headteacher, says “Julynn is a hard working and proactive member of the school. She goes above and beyond for the children, which has resulted in great progress within year 6. Her relationships with the children are phenomenal – she is dedicated to their wellbeing and ensures each child thrives. I cannot thank her enough for her support this year, she is a joy to have in the classroom!”
