Apprentice of the month – July 2021
Congratulations to Jasmine, our Apprentice of the Month for July!
Jasmine has completed her Level 3 Early Years apprenticeship, whilst working at Rainbow Nursery in Frome. She achieved a distinction and has recently been promoted to the baby room leader!
Jasmine has achieved a lot during her apprenticeship, whilst coping with her own mental health. She has helped the nursery put into practice the ‘curiosity approach’ – a big change and worked during the pandemic, which has disrupted her qualification and day to day working at the nursery. Jasmine has done extremely well, working hard to achieve her qualification and progress within her career.
Nicki Seaford, manager at Rainbow Nursery says, “Jasmine deserves the award! She has worked really hard from day one and has a lot of empathy towards children and families, which is a really important skill to have in childcare. Jasmine has helped us to put the ‘curiosity approach’ in place, by attending training, helping with planning and showing lots of enthusiasm. She also works really well within a close knit team. That’s why we couldn’t let her go and offered her the position of leader of the baby room. We are all really proud of her!“
Jasmine says, “I feel really overwhelmed. I feel I’ve done really well in my apprenticeship programme but that’s also down to the Rainbow team that I work with, and my tutor Sophie. I am really proud of myself and what I’ve achieved!“
Well done to Jasmine and we wish her the best of luck and success with her career in childcare!
