Apprentice of the month – March 2022

Congratulations to Ellie-Mae, our Apprentice of the Month for March!

Ellie-Mae is currently working as an apprentice at St Vigor and St Johns Church School in Chilcompton, studying for her Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. She started with us in September 2020 and went on to complete her Level 2 in Childcare apprenticeship, at The Mill Nursery, and her ICT Functional Skills, before starting her Level 3 apprenticeship.

Ellie-Mae has achieved so much, working hard to complete her course, especially her end point assessment which consisted of a 90 minute professional discussion covering the knowledge, skills and behaviours she has learnt through her apprenticeship. She has grown in confidence and enjoys her role, being totally committed to the course, through the pandemic, and attending all her learning and support sessions. She has proved she can complete anything she puts her mind to and thoroughly deserves the Apprentice of the Month award.

Ellie-Mae would like to work in a school as a teaching assistant and maybe in the future look at completing another course linked to teaching.

Chris Chorley, Head Teacher, says “Ellie-Mae has fitted into the school perfectly with all the staff and the children.

Well done to Ellie-Mae and we wish her the best of luck and success with her studies and future career!
