Apprentice of the month – October 2021
Congratulations to Rose, our Apprentice of the Month for October!
Rose is an outstanding Business Administration Apprentice, working for Somerset County Council. Both her line manager and tutor cannot praise her highly enough and you can read more here…
Claire Hodges, SS&L Tutor said, “Rose is an amazing learner! She exceeds expectations in the both the workplace and apprenticeship learning. Rose produces evidence of an extremely high quality, thorough and meticulous in her research and presentation of her learning. She consistently receives praise from her Line Manager as well as Strategic Managers and Board Members. Rose is an absolute star apprentice. She works hard, pays attention to detail, always strives to do her best and achieves amazing results, is conscientious and respectful. It’s been wonderful to see her confidence grow during the last 10 months.”
Rose’s Line Manager, Sarah, commented, “I’m very proud of Rose for receiving apprentice of the month. Rose is an engaging and valued member of the team. I am relatively new to post and Rose has helped me navigate through the system and The Proud to Care vision. I am extremely grateful for that support. Thank you Rose and well done.”
Rose has throughly enjoyed her time as an SS&L apprentice so far and has gained valuable and lifelong skills, whilst meeting new friends and gaining real insight into the Council workplace. She says, “Everyone has been so supportive, helpful and made me feel so comfortable throughout. I hope to do myself, SS&L and Somerset County Council proud by achieving a distinction and seeing what the future holds for me!”
