Apprentice of the month – September 2022

Congratulations to Katie, our Apprentice of the Month for September!

Katie works as a Level 3 Business Admin Apprentice at Castle Cary Town Council. She started her Apprenticeship journey with us in March 2022.

Katie is loving her role and says, “I’m so glad I’m doing my Apprenticeship at Castle Cary Town Council and with Somerset Skills & Learning. I’ve enjoyed learning whilst being surrounded by a great group of people in the office, and I’m so well supported by my tutor for the Apprenticeship work. I am looking forward to continuing my Apprenticeship journey to see where it takes me next.”

Judi Morison, Castle Cary Town Councillor, says “Katie became a part of our team very quickly. She has an enthusiasm for learning, and ability to embrace the structure and workings of the Town Council, with a positive energy and cheery smile. She has demonstrated an abundant ability to liaise with her colleagues, members of the public, volunteers and Councillors, which has made her an excellent fit for the role she is in. We are so grateful to Somerset Skills & Learning for supporting her, and us, through her apprenticeship journey.”
