Take the Next Step – Free Level 3 Courses for Adults

If you’re thinking about a new career, want to boost your skills, or are ready to return to work, this could be the perfect time to take that next step.

Thanks to funding from Somerset Council, you can train for a new career, or upskill in your current role – without paying a penny. If you live in Somerset, are aged 19 or over, and earn under £25,000 or are unemployed, you could join one of our fully funded Level 3 courses.

And the best bit? If you’re eligible, your course will be completely free.

What can I study?

We’re offering fully funded places on the following Level 3 qualifications – equivalent to an A Level -all designed to build skills for careers in education, early years, counselling and support roles:

Level 3 Diploma in Counselling Skills

Gain valuable communication and listening skills that are useful in many careers – or progress into further counselling training.

Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce

A nationally recognised qualification to prepare you for working in nurseries, preschools or as a childminder.

Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Autism

Ideal if you want to support children or adults with autism – at home, in school, or in community settings.

Level 3 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health

Build awareness and practical knowledge to support mental wellbeing in your workplace or future career.
