Lead Sustainability in Your School with SS&L’s Schools Green Lead Apprenticeship

At SS&L, we’re passionate about changing lives through learning – and that includes the lives of your pupils, staff and entire school community. That’s why we’re excited to launch our brand-new Schools Green Lead apprenticeship, starting in September 2026! 🌿

This Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant programme is designed to equip a teaching assistant or support staff member to take the lead on green literacy, sustainability, and forest school initiatives within your school. In today’s world, environmental awareness is more important than ever, and your school can be at the forefront.

Why this apprenticeship matters

Investing in your staff’s sustainability leadership has benefits for everyone:

🌿 Pupils gain real-world skills in environmental awareness and outdoor learning.

🌿 Staff recognition and development opportunities, preparing them for leadership roles.

🌿 Your school strengthens its sustainability credentials, supporting Ofsted readiness and community engagement.
