Introduction to how children learn

Join SS&L at Little Discoveries Day Nursery in Yeovil for a series of weekly, hands-on Early Years workshops.
You’re invited to join us in our very own Nursery in Yeovil for a series of 7 free* workshops starting in April! Each week you’ll have the chance to explore a variety of theories, techniques and practical activities to enhance your knowledge of how children learn. From sensory exploration and embedding literacy and numeracy in play to outdoor learning, you’ll discover how theories are linked to activities and how to improve your current and future practice.
These workshops are designed for anyone interested in a career in childcare, as well as those already practicing.
On completion of any of these workshops you will receive a certificate and we have plenty of other courses and qualifications you can progress on to.
Sessions are run on Saturday mornings from 9.30am – 1.30pm and you can attend just one, or all of them!
Places are limited due to social distancing measures, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
