We’re proud to share some fantastic news at SS&L. Following the release of the latest national apprenticeship data (2024/25), our results show that we are delivering real impact for our learners and communities.
Highest Achievement Rate in Somerset
SS&L has achieved the highest apprenticeship achievement rate in Somerset at 72%, alongside a 100% pass rate. These results place us well above national averages and reflect the hard work and commitment of everyone involved in our programmes.
A Community-Focused Approach
As the only Community Interest Company delivering apprenticeships in Somerset, our focus has always been on people. We exist to support learners to overcome barriers, build confidence, and move into meaningful careers. These results show that this approach works.

Exceeding National Benchmarks
Nationally, apprenticeship achievement rates typically sit at around 54-56%, with pass rates in the mid-to-high 90s. Our results show what is possible when learning is delivered with care, expertise, and strong employer partnerships.
