Salary: £14,412.50 (pro rata of Step 10)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Who we’re looking for:
At SS&L we strive to provide excellent customer service, and as a member of the wider Business Development Team you will play a key role in ensuring we meet this goal. As part of the Front Door Team, you will play a key role in the recruitment of learners, ensuring customers are well informed and that their journey to the classroom is smooth and seamless.
As a Recruitment and Admissions Officer, you will play an active role in recruiting new learners to SS&L through relationships with school referral partners and other agencies. You will provide Careers Information, Advice and Guidance to prospective learners, ensuring their chosen career pathways are right for them. You will also be responsible for onboarding new learners onto their new courses. School engagement is key for this role and you will be required to attend a variety of school and careers events to raise awareness of SS&L courses available to learners in our region.
The customer experience for both internal and external customers is at the heart of this team, so flexibility, communication, organisation and being pro-active are essential qualities for this post.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Recruitment and Admissions Officer to support learners through the enrolment and onboarding journey, match candidates with suitable employment, and maintain relationships with key employer partners to support repeat business.
You will be a key member of the team, working closely with colleagues to support learners through the earliest stage of their journey. You will provide excellent customer service and learner experience prior to beginning on a course of study. You should have excellent interpersonal, personal organisation, and communication skills, work well with your own portfolio and have a keen desire to collaborate to create opportunities for learning. You will be part of a team taking an active lead in recruiting and onboarding apprenticeship learners. This role will also be responsible for managing apprenticeship vacancies on the Digital Apprenticeship Service including keeping employers informed of progress and outcomes.
