Location: Somerset and surrounding areas - primarily Shepton Mallet and Somer Valley area
Salary: Pro rata of £29,648 - £33,355
Hours: Up to 30 per week

Who we’re looking for:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 16-19 tutor to join our curriculum team, supporting young people to achieve their full potential. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging learning sessions that develop young people’s English and maths understanding so they can work towards a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification. Alongside this, you will deliver an employability qualification building real transferable skills and work with employers in the area to add valuable workplace experience for our learners.
You will play a key role in creating an inclusive learning environment, tailoring your teaching to meet individual needs, including those of learners with EHCPs and additional support requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping young people progress into further education, employment or training.
The successful candidate will bring strong teaching and organisational skills, with the ability to plan effectively, assess and track progress, and adapt learning to maximise outcomes. You will be committed to high-quality teaching, equality and diversity, and safeguarding, while also contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
