Typical tasks include:
- Handling emails, calls, and internal communications

Duration & Delivery
Duration: 12 months
Delivered through a blend of:
- Workplace training
- Classroom sessions
You’ll gain real work experience while building your knowledge step by step.
Entry Requirements
Starts on this apprenticeship are limited to those under 25s. Not eligible? Please take a look at the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
Entry requirements are set by individual employers, but include:
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic communication and IT skills
- No prior office experience required
If you don’t yet have the required English and maths levels, support will be provided as part of the apprenticeship
Assessment
At the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll complete an End-Point Assessment (EPA).
This includes:
- A structured interview or professional discussion
- Assessment linked to your knowledge and skills
- Completion of a recognised accounting qualification
Your final grade will reflect your overall performance and readiness for the role
Progression
After completing this apprenticeship, you could progress to:
- Business Administrator (Level 3 apprenticeship)
- Office Coordinator
- Receptionist or Customer Service roles
