Trainee of the month – May 2022

Congratulations to Violet, our trainee of the month for May!

Violet joined us in November 2021 on a Property Maintenance Traineeship, with her work placement at Kelson Maintenance Ltd. She’s currently studying for her GCSE English, having achieved Entry Level 3 Maths and she’s also working towards Customer Service & Communication Level 1.

We’ve chosen Violet for this award because she has totally embraced the traineeship programme. She started out in Beauty Therapy, but realised that wasn’t for her. She then secured a placement in property maintenance where she’s been learning skills in painting and decorating. Violet has excellent attendance and motivation towards her work, demonstrating real commitment to her traineeship programme.

And the best news? Violet has been offered an Apprenticeship in Painting and Decorating, starting in September, which she’s really looking forward to.

Violet’s tutor at SS&L says, “Violet always comes into training with a smile, works hard and has shown great commitment.“
