SS&L Apprentice of the Month – March 2025

Huge congratulations to Josie! Our Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice has been named SS&L Apprentice of the Month for March 2025. At just 18, Josie has already made a huge impact in her role, impressing both her colleagues and tutor with her dedication, skills and ambition.

From day one, Josie’s passion for business has driven her to go above and beyond in her apprenticeship at Manders Financial Services. She always knew she wanted a career in business, and an apprenticeship was the perfect way to gain real world experience while learning on the job.

“I’ve always had an interest in what it takes to run a business, and this course seemed perfect to further my knowledge and skills in this area,” Josie shared.

In her role as Partner Support, Josie works with her team to help run the practice smoothly. She supports advisers and their clients, making sure everything runs well, and also helps with the day-to-day tasks in the office, and she loves it!

“I really enjoy speaking with clients, whether it’s on the phone, or welcoming them into the office for meetings.”

Her dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed. Josie’s tutor, Claire Hodges is beyond impressed with her commitment and work ethic.

“Josie’s attitude is second to none,” Claire said. Her coursework is always of an excellent standard and she is always up to date with her learning – she goes above and beyond what is required.”

Her team at Manders Financial Services couldn’t agree more.

“Josie is very much a part of the team. She is incredibly proactive with completing her coursework and when being delegated tasks, she is able to prioritise and meet deadlines. She’s even brought fresh ideas to improve our processes!”

Josie’s ambition doesn’t stop here. Once she completes her Level 3 apprenticeship, she’s planning to take a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, to become a Financial Advisor.
